About Department of Master of Computer Applications
The Department of Computer Applications was established in 1988 and served as a strong academic unit for over three decades, successfully offering quality education and producing skilled graduates until 2019. Due to admission-related challenges, the department was temporarily closed.
From the academic year 2025–26, the Department of Computer Applications has been restarted, with renewed focus, updated curriculum, modern infrastructure, and a commitment to meeting current industry and academic needs. The department aims to continue its legacy of excellence by providing comprehensive training, fostering innovation, and preparing students for careers in the evolving field of computing.
The department is supported by dedicated faculty members who are committed to academic excellence, research, and student development. We encourage our students to explore, innovate, and actively participate in seminars, workshops, industry interactions, and project-based learning. Our alumni are placed in reputed organizations across the globe, contributing to diverse sectors in the IT industry
