ISE Students Secure Top 7 Position in SEEDBRAIN 3.0 Pitching Event at Cambridge Group of Institutions We are delighted to announce that students from the ISE department P. Pratheeka  Ganapathi, Tejaswini A. have achieved an impressive milestone at the prestigious SEEDBRAIN 3.0 event, held at the Cambridge Group of Institutions (CIT) in Bengaluru on July 12th, 2024.

Student  Achievements 

• "In the academic year 2022-23, Aisiri Raj,  secured a paid internship with Mercedes Benz Research and Development, lasting for six months and yielding a total of 30,000 in earnings."

• During the 2022-23 academic year, Tribhuvan H. G successfully obtained a paid internship at Mercedes Benz Research and Development, which spanned five months and resulted in earnings totaling 30,000.

• Vibhashree M S partcipated and secured second prize in singing competition in "SENTIA" fest held at MITE, Moodbidri, DK.

• KSCST Sponsored Project Approved: The KSCST Sponsored Project 2022-2023 has been approved for the project entitled “solid waste management and analysis using ML”, the team members are Mr.Akshay, Mr Vishwas , Mr.Aniruddha  & Mr Promod M.G and this project was done under the guidance of Dr.CHANDRIKA.J , Professor, Head of Department of Information Science and Engineering was selected for the Seminar .

• Chinmayi K.N , the student   secured the second position in the Throwball (women's) event at the VTU Central Karnataka Zone Tournament held at Kalpataru Institute of Technology, Tiptur on 7th June 2023, and received an award for her achievement.

Faculty Achievements 

• On August 16, 2021, Dr. BALAJI PRABHU B V, affiliated with Malnad College of Engineering in Hassan, India, was honored with the Excellence in Research Award.

Student  Achievements 

• In the academic year 2021-22, Saniya Kausar secured a paid internship with Toshiba, which lasted for four months and earned her 30,000.

• In the academic year 2021-22, Aditya H.R. completed a seven-month paid internship with Toddle, earning 50,000

• Trupthi C.M, the student secured the Third position in the Throwball (women's) event at Malnad Sports and Athletic meet, MCE Hassan. on 17th March 2022, and received an award for her achievement.

• Suman R, the student  secured the Second position in the Throwball (women's) event at Central Karnataka Basketball, AIT, Chikkmangalore on 28 November 2022, and received an award for his achievement

• B. Ashish Karagond , the student w secured the Second position in the Shuttle Badminton event at VTU central Karnataka Zone Event Tournament on 05 November 2022 and received an award for his achievement.

Faculty Achievements 

• AICTE MODROB grants sanctioned for Data Analytics Lab setup. AICTE sanctioned funding of Rs. 5,00,000/- for the establishment of “Data Analytics Lab” under Modernisation and Removal of Obsolescence (MODROB) scheme on 14th March 2020 and this project was coordinated by Dr. Chandrika J, Professor, Dean of Acdemic Affairs and Head Department of Information  Science and Engineering, MCE, Hassan.
